When it comes to choosing a transport service, the temptation to opt for the cheapest option is strong. However, an excessively cheap fare should alert you. Be wary of "taxis" that do not have an official website and whose booking process is limited to informal exchanges via SMS, WhatsApp or social networks, without confirmation or follow-up by email. The absence of a VAT number clearly displayed on their documents, the absence of official stickers, and especially, a license plate that does not start with TL or TX in Belgium, are all red flags.
These clues often reveal a "taxi" operating illegally, without authorization or the necessary safety guarantees. These vehicles may be in default of technical inspection, too old, or even uninsured in the event of an accident. By choosing a low price, you could pay a high price in the event of a problem. Don't take any risks, choose the safety and reliability of a legal and professional transport service.
